The Magyar Ligarögbi Szövetség (Hungarian Rugby League Football) and Polska Rugby XIII have today announced that the Hungarian and Polish national teams will play a warm-up clash at Norford Park in the lead up to this year’s tournament.
The clash, which will be the first time the two nations have met in a sanctioned Rugby League International, will offer an important hit out for the two nations squads prior to taking part in the Emerging Nations World Championship.
The match will take place at 7:00pm AEST on Friday, September 28 in Chester Hill, the two National Governing Bodies (NGB) also announcing that a follow-up fixture between the two nations will also take place in Poland in 2019.
Tickets for the match are $10 for Adults, with Children Under 13 offered free admission.
Hungary will partake in Pool B of the 2018 Emerging Nations World Championship, facing Greece and Vanuatu in the Pool Matches, whilst Poland will play Japan and Hong Kong in Pool C.
