2018 Rugby League Emerging Nations World Championship Result: 3rd


Hellenic Rugby League was first formed by Australian’s with Greek heritage thanks to the efforts of Colin Mylonas. Their first international’s were played in 2003.

A defining moment for Hellenic Rugby League came in 2006 with the first international played on home soil against Serbia. Played in Athens with eight locally based players, Greece defeated Serbia 44 – 26.

Four teams currently make up the Greek domestic league, being the Rhodes Knights, Aris Eagles, Attica Rhinos and Athens City Raiders
